Rules & Regulations

Read and understand these terms fully before you register. This page carries the official Terms & Conditions of the PLN Mobile Electric 5K Series — 78 points across six sections.

Every prospective participant must read and fully understand the following Rules & Regulations before registering for the PLN Mobile Electric 5K Series. Status as an official participant ("Participant") applies to anyone who has received a confirmation email from the PLN Mobile Electric 5K Series committee, whether through the online registration channel or any other official registration scheme provided.

Note: This English text is provided for convenience. The Indonesian version of these Terms & Conditions is the official, binding reference.

General

Points 1–12

  1. Once a Participant completes the PLN Mobile Electric 5K Series registration process (the "Race"), the Participant is automatically deemed to agree to and be bound by the entire contents of these Rules & Regulations.
  2. The Race offers a single distance category only, namely 5 Kilometers ("5K").
  3. Registration is open to Indonesian citizens (WNI) as well as foreign nationals (WNA) holding a valid passport.
  4. The minimum age to take part in the 5K category is 14 (fourteen) years, calculated as of the date the Race is held.
  5. Participants over 65 years of age are not covered by the event's insurance. By registering, Participants in this age group declare their willingness to bear all risks that may arise while taking part in the PLN Mobile Electric 5K Series.
  6. Participants who are under 17 (seventeen) years of age on Race Day must submit a permission letter from both parents when collecting their race pack. The permission-letter template can be downloaded via the link provided by the committee here.
  7. Participants are advised to have their health checked by a doctor before taking part. By joining the Race, the Participant understands and accepts that this activity carries potential risks, including but not limited to physical injury, health problems, accidents, property damage, paralysis, and even fatal risk, as well as other possibilities that cannot be foreseen in advance (the "Risks"). Such Risks may arise from the Participant's own negligence, the actions of others, the condition of facilities and infrastructure, the weather, or force majeure as explained in a later section.
  8. The PLN Mobile Electric 5K Series organizing committee (the "Organizer") is not responsible for loss or harm arising from, among other things:
    • the Risks referred to above;
    • the Participant arriving late at the Race location;
    • a Participant's pre-existing medical history;
    • accidents occurring during the Race;
    • loss of or damage to a Participant's personal belongings while taking part in the Race; and/or
    • force majeure events as defined elsewhere in this document.
  9. Pregnant Participants are still permitted to take part provided they report their condition to the Organizer, attach a doctor's certificate, and sign a statement letter no later than 1 (one) week before Race Day via email. A sample statement-letter template is available at the link provided here. The Organizer reserves the right to end a pregnant Participant's participation on health grounds, and is not responsible for any health complications that may arise from her participation in the Race.
  10. Through registration, the Participant grants the Organizer and its appointed parties a full, exclusive, and irrevocable right to use the Participant's name, likeness, and personal data — whether in the form of photos, video, or other materials — for the production, publication, and distribution of PLN Mobile Electric 5K Series documentation, through any media or platform, without territorial limitation.
  11. All Race documentation — including photos, video, articles, timing records, and location data — together with the rights to use it on television, print media, online channels, or other forms of publication, is entirely the property of the Organizer. This also covers the use of Participants' personal data such as name, age, and domicile (country, province, city).
  12. Baggage Storage:
    • The committee only accepts baggage storage from 04:00 WIB until 08:30 WIB.
    • Participants are not permitted to store valuables at the baggage-storage tent provided by the committee.
    • Participants wishing to deposit/collect items at the baggage-collection counter must show their BIB to the officer and complete the baggage-storage form provided.
    • By using the baggage-storage service, the participant agrees to, acknowledges, and understands that the committee is not responsible for personal belongings or property that is lost, damaged, or stolen during the event.

Registration

Points 13–18

  1. The Race registration process signifies that the Participant has read, understood, and agreed to the entire contents of the Rules & Regulations.
  2. Each Participant is permitted to register only once for this Race.
  3. Registration is done online through the official PLN Mobile app. Registering through that channel is deemed a form of agreement to these Rules & Regulations.
  4. A payment-confirmation email together with a registration identity number will be sent once the system has successfully verified the Participant's payment.
  5. The Organizer reserves the right to close registration before the stated deadline, including if the participant quota is filled earlier than expected.
  6. Participants must fill in true, accurate, current, and complete data on the registration form, and are fully responsible for the accuracy of that data. The Organizer may contact the Participant at any time via email, and any notice sent to the registered email address is deemed to have been received by the Participant.

Participation

Points 19–49

  1. Participants must complete the entire 5K route, from the official start line to the official finish line, within the Cut Off Time set by the Organizer. Determination of official timing rests entirely with the Organizer.
  2. The Cut Off Time for the 5K category is set at 40 (forty) minutes.
  3. The BIB number serves as the Participant's personal identity and may not be exchanged or transferred to any other party.
  4. Selling or transferring a registration slot/BIB number to another party is prohibited; violating this results in disqualification and/or a ban from taking part in similar events in the future.
  5. The BIB number is handed over after the Participant shows proof of registration and an identity card, and must be worn clearly visible throughout the Race. The Organizer is authorized to withhold the race pack or BIB number if indications of a violation such as data falsification are found.
  6. The start corral will close as soon as the 5K category start signal is sounded. Participants not yet in the corral at that time are not permitted to start and will be recorded with a DNS (Did Not Start) status.
  7. Unsportsmanlike conduct, including obstructing or blocking the path of other Participants along the route, will result in automatic disqualification.
  8. Drink stations are provided along the race route as well as in the finish-line area.
  9. Motor vehicles, bicycles, roller skates, skateboards, strollers, wheelchairs, or other unofficial mobility aids are not permitted on the Race route.
  10. Pets, whether leashed or not, are prohibited from being brought into the Race route area.
  11. Participants are prohibited from wearing gear that risks endangering themselves or other Participants, including covering the face while running.
  12. The attire worn by Participants must comply with the standards of propriety for a sporting event and must not disturb the comfort of fellow Participants or spectators.
  13. Using clothing as a means of political or religious campaigning, or as certain promotional/advertising material, is not permitted.
  14. Participants are prohibited from carrying attributes that could be misinterpreted as official signals, confusing other Participants or the Organizer, or from using sound-producing devices that could disturb the comfort of other Participants.
  15. Activities that could hinder the smooth running of the Race — such as dancing, performing in public, playing musical instruments, or standing in the start/finish area or along the route — are not permitted.
  16. Any form of fundraising carried out by a Participant while taking part in the PLN Mobile Electric 5K Series is the personal responsibility of the Participant concerned, not the responsibility of the Organizer.
  17. Participants are prohibited from obstructing pedestrian crossings or emergency-vehicle lanes at certain designated points.
  18. Timing boards will be installed in the start and finish areas as a reference for Participants.
  19. The Organizer may establish a number of Cut Off Points along the 5K route. Details of the location and time of each point will be communicated through a separate official announcement.
  20. Participants who do not meet the Cut Off Time and/or Cut Off Point, including disqualified Participants, are declared not to have finished the Race and are not entitled to a finisher medal.
  21. Non-compliance with the instructions of the Organizer or officials that disrupts the smooth running of the Race may be grounds for disqualifying a Participant.
  22. The Organizer is authorized to end the participation of a Participant who behaves inappropriately during the Race and to disqualify them.
  23. Carrying items that could potentially disrupt the safety or smooth progress of other Participants is a prohibited act.
  24. Security along the route is the responsibility of the police and related agencies, while medical services are provided by the Organizer in cooperation with local hospitals and medical personnel. Medical personnel are authorized to stop a Participant deemed medically unfit to continue the Race.
  25. Each Participant receives a chipped BIB number to record their time automatically. Checkpoints will be placed at several parts of the route to ensure Participants follow the official course; Participants who leave the official course will be disqualified.
  26. The Race winner (the "Winner") must wear their own BIB number and timing chip, and show official proof of identity to obtain the prize.
  27. A Winner who cannot show valid proof of identity may be disqualified and lose their entitlement to the prize.
  28. The Organizer may update the contents of the Rules & Regulations at any time at its own discretion without prior notice. Participants are therefore advised to review the Rules & Regulations each time they access the PLN Mobile app and/or the official PLN Mobile Electric 5K Series website.
  29. By participating in this program, each participant is deemed to have read the committee's policy regarding personal data as available on the PLN Mobile Electric 5K Series page, and the participant is thereby deemed to grant consent and authority to the committee to disclose the participant's personal data to the committee and/or the committee's affiliates and/or third parties cooperating with the committee in connection with the program. If necessary, the committee reserves the right to publish the name, photo, or testimonial provided by the participant and/or winner for communication or advertising purposes in connection with this program, in print, electronic, or digital media, without providing any financial contribution to the participant or winner. Further, by joining this Program, each participant is deemed willing and to have granted permission to be contacted by the committee or third parties appointed by the committee via direct message, email, telephone, or SMS.
  30. By participating in this program, the participant is deemed to have granted consent to the committee, for a period permitted by law, to store and use the consumer's personal information for verification purposes for the delivery of prizes as well as compliance with the committee's internal policies and/or to contact them.
  31. Any matters not yet regulated in these Rules & Regulations will be determined later by the Organizer.

Race Pack

Points 50–55

  1. The race pack is not shipped to the Participant's address and cannot be collected on Race Day.
  2. If one participant's name is found registered under two different entries, the Organizer reserves the right to withhold all related BIB numbers and race packs, and to disqualify the Participant concerned.
  3. Race-pack collection may be delegated to another party (a "Race Pack Collector") by attaching a printed letter of authorization, the race-pack collection ticket email, and the original identity documents of both the authorizer and the authorized party in printed form. The letter-of-authorization template can be downloaded via the official link here.
  4. One Race Pack Collector is permitted to collect a maximum of 3 (three) race packs in a single queue.
  5. The committee is authorized to not hand over the race pack and all its contents (including the BIB number), and to disqualify the Participant from the Race, if indications of a violation such as duplicate registration, identity falsification, or other similar conditions are found.
  6. The schedule and location of race-pack collection, including BIB number information, will be communicated further via an official email from the Organizer.

Prizes

Points 56–61

  1. Winners are determined based on the Participants who reach the finish line with the fastest recorded time (gun time).
  2. Winners must wear the BIB number and timing chip registered under their own name, and show official proof of identity to obtain the prize.
  3. A Winner who cannot show valid official identity during verification will be disqualified and lose their entitlement to the championship title and the prize.
  4. Prospective Winners must report to the verification tent no later than 30 (thirty) minutes after finishing the Race. Absence without notifying the committee may result in disqualification, unless the Prospective Winner is under the care of the medical team.
  5. Prizes in the form of cash are subject to tax in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations, and that tax obligation is the personal responsibility of each Winner.
  6. Prize disbursement is processed no later than 45 (forty-five) working days from Race Day. Winners must ensure the accuracy of their bank account details, address, and other information requested by the Organizer; data errors may slow the disbursement process and are the full responsibility of the Winner concerned.

Miscellaneous

Points 62–78

  1. The registration fee is non-refundable for any reason whatsoever. The Organizer reserves the right to cancel a previously confirmed registration if data that is untrue, false, and/or incomplete is later found.
  2. The Organizer reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the Race in the event of force majeure. In such circumstances, the Organizer is not obliged to refund the registration fee paid by the Participant, and is not responsible for any Risks that may arise from the cancellation or rescheduling of the Race. Force majeure includes, but is not limited to, conditions of war (whether officially declared or not), civil unrest, strikes, disease outbreaks, major accidents, fire, flood, natural disasters, embargoes, legal provisions, policies of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia, and other conditions beyond the Organizer's reasonable control.
  3. If any, every piece of material entered and submitted in the program must be an original creation and the personal property of the Participant, must not contain elements of violence, harassment, or pornography, must not offend on grounds of ethnicity, religion, race, or intergroup relations (SARA), and must not infringe the intellectual property rights of any other party.
  4. If any, each participant hereby grants consent to the committee to use the material entered and submitted in the program on any media, including on the PLN Mobile Electric 5K Series 2026 social media, in accordance with the interests of the PLN Mobile Electric 5K Series 2026 for an unlimited period, without requiring separate consent from each participant and winner and without any compensation to the participant and/or winner.
  5. The manufacturer and/or issuer of the prizes is not affiliated with and/or is not a sponsor of this program.
  6. The PLN Mobile Electric 5K Series 2026, at its own discretion, reserves the right to disqualify participants or winners who fail to meet and/or violate and/or are suspected of cheating against these Terms based on verification carried out by the committee, including but not limited to checks at the point of purchase.
  7. The committee has the right to change the Terms, if deemed necessary, without prior notice.
  8. The committee reserves the right to cancel, postpone, and make any changes to this program in the event of circumstances beyond control or force majeure.
  9. If for any reason the awarding of prizes cannot proceed as planned, the committee reserves the right to modify the prize-awarding terms with a prize of equivalent value to the one promised.
  10. All additional costs associated with receiving or using the prize, whether directly or indirectly, are the responsibility of the winner.
  11. The committee is not responsible in the event a prize is not received by the winner due to errors in the winner's address or telephone number provided when they carried out verification and confirmation of their personal data.
  12. Neither the committee nor anyone professionally connected with the PLN Mobile Electric 5K Series 2026 in carrying out the program is responsible for: any damage, failure, or error in electronic data transmission;
  13. failure of communication lines, for any cause whatsoever, in connection with any equipment, system, network, line, satellite, server, computer, or provider used in any aspect of this program.
  14. If any statement and/or implementation of the terms is found to be void, unlawful, or unenforceable, that point does not affect the other Terms, which remain in force.
  15. No one is permitted to take the material/content of the PLN Mobile Electric 5K Series 2026 website and publish it in any form without written permission from the PLN Mobile Electric 5K Series 2026.
  16. Beware of fraud. The PLN Mobile Electric 5K Series 2026 is not responsible for transactions carried out outside our Official website.
  17. All disputes relating to this program and activity will be resolved by deliberation and consensus.
